Silk Screens Moiko 9.05

These Moiko silk screens are essential for giving your polymer clay earrings a unique look.

Print size approximately 7.5cm x 10.5cm
How to use a silk screen:
1. Create a smooth polymer clay surface where you will later want to insert your earrings
2. Place your silk screen with the glossy side on your polymer clay and press a little with, for example, your acrylic roller
3. Apply a line of acrylic paint to the edge of your silk screen (acrylic paint that feels a bit like toothpaste is best, such as the Amsterdam brand).
4. Rub it evenly over your sheet with a wide brush or (credit) card
5. Carefully lift a corner of your silkscreen and peel the silkscreen off your clay
6. Clean your silk screen immediately in cold water so you can use it more often.
7. Let your print dry and make earrings from it

This is how you use a silk screen:
First, you should place the silk screen bright side down on your surface. Then put a line of paint along one edge, preferably heavy body paint in a tube. Now its time to spread the paint across the stencil with a squeegee or put it on an old credit card. Remove the stencil by lifting it up on one side slowly. Repeat this action in order to screen another image quickly or put the screen in cool water.
